Para este indicador, FAO fornece dados para Área do euro de 1990 a 2016. O valor médio por Área do euro durante este período foi 36.7 por cento com o mínimo de 34.4 por cento em 1990 e o máximo de 38.3 por cento em 2015.
Definição: Forest area is land under natural or planted stands of trees of at least 5 meters in situ, whether productive or not, and excludes tree stands in agricultural production systems (for example, in fruit plantations and agroforestry systems) and trees in urban parks and gardens.
